Tienda Ho cotton rayon Moroccan harem pants in Sonya design in black and white tweed.
Tienda Ho is a beautiful boutique on State Street in the heart of Santa Barbara that looks like a Moroccan bazaar. It is filled from the floor to the ceiling of the 2nd floor with clothing and treasures from both Morocco and India. And the place is typically humming with quiet conversations amongst customers and staff about piecing together different looks.
Moroccan wear is a bit hippie style clothing.
It's all about layering with Moroccan clothing style is all about the layers with pants, skirts, tank tops, tank dresses, sleeved tops, vests, jackets, coats and scarves.
The pieces from Morocco are either 100% combed Viscose or a 60/40% cotton-rayon blend and they are super soft and drape beautifully. Everything is one-size and miraculously it works on all sizes of women from model-thin to voluptuous 2X.
Hand-woven in Morocco, it's one size fits all. These pants are the Sonya style which has a triple-channel elastic waist-band for a closer fit at the waist to offset the wide-leg styling, in-seam side pockets, and tapered legs.
Waist measure 27 inches un-stretched and 51 inches at maximum stretch, except for the tweed which has an un-stretched waist measurement of 28 inches and 52 inches at maximum stretch. In-seam length to edge of hem is 32 inches, except for the tweed which has an in-seam length of 35 inches.
Dry-cleaning recommended, but can be gently washed in Woolite with cold water and then laid out to dry on towels.
