African Queen Picture Jasper pendant in an oblong shape. The brass bail is a reproduction of an art deco design popular in the 1920's. The bottom half of the bail swivels adding more movement to the pendant.
The chain is not included, but you can find many chains available in our shop. The one pictured here is 1.5mm thick sterling silver snake chain in a 24 inch length.
African Queen Picture Jasper meaning:
This is mud that has petrified into jasper. Amazingly, it depicts the landscape where it is mined. Mined in southern Namibia. This Jasper is softer than most jaspers and that is why the polish is more of a satin finish than a shiny finish. It is also called Kalahari Picture Jasper.
