Om pendant measures 1.68 inches long from top of bail to bottom of pendant by 1.21 inches wide.  Lightweight.  The Om symbol is a spiritual symbol in Hinduism.  It is also a syllable and as a syllable is called a pravana.  Om as a syllable dates back to the Upanishads, which is a set of mystical books about the Vedanta philosophy.  Om is considered a sacred sound and is used a tool for meditation by a long expression of its sound: ooooohhhhhhhmmm.  It is a mantra in the religions of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.

Om is the first word of the mantra Om Mani Padmi Hum and scholars interpret this to be the totality of sound, existence and consciousness.

The Sanskrit Om symbol is a visual representation of the sacred sound Om, Ohm or Aum: the sound of the universe and a symbol of peace, tranquility and unity.

Copper metaphysical properties:

Most metallic elements are inherently gray or silver.  Pure Copper oxidizes from air, as seen here, but is naturally orange-gold color.

According to the channeled material in Gem Elixirs and Vibrational Healing, Volume 1 by Gurudas,  The ancients used copper to treat cholera, dropsy, eczema, flu, gallbladder disorders, hernia, jaundice, neuralgia, heart palpitations, scarlet fever, schizophrenia and to strengthen the sexual organs.  Other problems for which it is used include chilliness, dizziness, nausea, night fever and poor pulse.  Glandular functions improve and copper promotes capillary action and formation of the red corpuscles.  It has also been used to alleviate throat problems including coughing, hoarseness, laryngeal catarrh and difficulty in swallowing.  Copper also eases a fear of death, poor memory and an inability to retain thoughts.  In the Ebers papyrus from the eighteenth dynasty of ancient Egypt, it is suggested that pulverized copper be used granulomatous, inflammations, especially in the eyes.  Hippocrates used copper for empyema, hemoptysis and pneumonia.  Paracelsus used it for treating hysteria, syphilis and pulmonary imbalances.

In India, copper amulets are worn to heal or prevent sciatica.
