Tibetan coral medallion necklace set in Tibetan sterling silver.
There is a centerpiece of three free-form yellow coral cabochons highlighted with tiny red coral beads. The yellow cabochons are flanked by red coral composite shapes.
This was a common technique where the coral was ground up (pounded with a stone) and mixed with resin and molded into shapes. The necklace is comprised of the bib collar, four strands of 4.2mm round Red Coral beads, two 11.6mm by 15.6mm Turquoise lozenge beads, and two 6.2mm by 11.1mm Turquoise bugle beads with silver spacer beads.
Turquoise metaphysical properties:
Turquoise is one of the most desirable crystals as it fortifies the entire body and helps to release all forms of disease.
Red and yellow coral promotes completion.
22 inches long. The bib portion is 5.5 inches wide. Weighs 5.3 ounces.
