Lovely patterning in this blue Crazy Lace Agate stone set in a circular solid sterling silver frame with a custom design of graceful vines that overlay the stone along the lines of the stone's natural swirls. The "fruit" on the ends of the stems are 2.5mm balls of Mohave Turquoise.
The blue color is not a natural color for Mexican Laguna Crazy Lace Agate. The stone was soaked in red prussiate of potassium for three weeks, followed by a soak in iron sulphate solution for ten days and then laid out in the sun. This process originated in Idar-Oberstein in Germany, where so many amazing agates are mined.
