This is a really unusual vase with lots of uses. It measures 3.6 inches square by 1.32 inches high or 1.37 inches high if you include the round felt pads on the bottom. It is also called a cushion vase.
It is ceramic even though it looks like a little bronze sculpture. Makes a very nice gift.
The opening on the top has a left shape with leaf like veins lightly carved into the surface of the top.
Especially nice as a vase for a thicker stemmed flower, such as ginger or a bamboo shoot.
I like to use it for the inevitable rose or blossom that breaks off as the bouquet is being arrange, but my favorite is to put multiple vases around the living room with a gardenia bloom or two when guests are making small talk before dinner.
Also make a lovely incense burner, chopstick rest, and bracelet "tray."
Weighs just under 7 ounces.
