Moonstone meaning:

Edgar Cayce, the "sleeping prophet" talked about moonstone's ability to direct a person towards spiritual things and that it also instills a great sense of peace and harmony. 

Perhaps it greatest reputation concerns its ability to restore harmony and health for women regarding their menstrual cycles, pregnancies and labors.  Ideally,  Moonstone should be taped to your body along your spine or over your solar plexus.  There are many reports of women becoming comfortable during labor once they either held it in their hand (sometimes fist is a more accurate description) or placed it on their solar plexus.  Great for easing cramps.  

Moonstone metaphysical properties:

Moonstone integrates the emotions so it also stimulates psychic abilities and strengthens overall mental health.  It has long been used as a prevention concerning insanity. 

Dubbed "the dream keeper," this stone can help retrieve and interpret dreams.  When you are ready to work on a dream, hold it in your left hand and give yourself permission to fully recall the dream as vividly as you first experienced it.  You will be amazed by the detail that can now come to mind.  Then ask yourself what the overall message of the dream is and write down your first impressions.
