This black jasper bead is inlaid with a rectangular Amazonite cabochon that has been cut to display coloring that looks like a pastoral scene. A thin frame of white chalcedony surrounds the Amazonite. The Amazonite cabochon by itself measures 18.5mm wide by 28mm long by 2mm thick. This bead measures 1 inch wide by 1.4 inches long by .25 inch thick and has been drilled side to side. Nice glassy polish.
