This amazing Japanese glass bottle was hand-painted (by adult artists - not child labor) with a two-haired brush. The glass bottle painting was done in layers through the opening at the top of the bottle.
If you order more than one of these hand painted glass bottles, you'll notice that they are not identical for obvious reasons, but they are pretty close. Each one is still unique.
Not an authentic Japanese perfume bottle as the stopper in the bottle is purely decorative as filling the bottle with actual cologne or perfume would dissolve the painting.
One side of the hand painted bottle is a Heian lady in a peony garden. The bottle painting on the other side is a Heian lady standing at an ornate table and stool.
These decorative glass bottles measure just under 3 inches tall by 1.5 inches wide at widest part.
