These beautiful heart-shaped seeds are from the Red Sandalwood Tree (adenanthera pavonina). They are referred to as Circassian Seeds in India and Britain, and called "Jumbies" in the Caribbean.
Not including Macrame tie, mala approximately measures 24 inches long. Each Red Rondel Seed bead is 6mm by 9mm with 1.5mm holes. Each round Carnelian bead measures 5.5mm in diameter. The polished Rudraksha bead measures 9mm and sits atop the guru bead.
Strand includes 108 Red Rondel Seed Beads, three Carnelian Round Beads and one polished Rudraksha Bead. Seeds are beaded on elastic. Each end of the macrame tie sports three Red Rondel Seeds.
