This Botswana agate druzy ring was created from cutting off the edge of a Botswana Agate geode. The inside of the geode is lined with a carpet of tiny quartz crystals called druzy. The outside of the geode was polished a bit to get down to a thin layer or shell of the geode. That surface was dyed with stabilized blue fabric dye.
